::: Usually I don't comment on decisions of the gallery-directors. I know they don't have an easy job - and nothing is easier than criticising them. But today, when I saw this DD I thought: WTF???

Somehow I feel DDs should make people laugh, make them think, make them happy or sad, amaze them in a way by their message, composition, tonal quality, artistic merit. They should be good photography. We should not forget that DDs serve as an example for others.

But this one make me feel - nothing. It is a poorly composed oversharpened photo, shot at (f22??) too narrow f-stop, picturing a boring empty scene and is taken from a snapshot-gallery. This is no DD. No way.

Well, dA has survived many mistakes. It'll survive this one as well.

Sorry for the rant. But I am angry.

Luckily there is a lot of good photography around that is worth looking at. I believe the galery I am featuring today, is well worth a visit.
