I didnt get to comment on the original. But this picture is so good. It captures the joyful expressions so well. I love it when you can look at a photograph and smile. This is very good.

i actually think this one is somewhat better (maybe coz i'm a black and white lover)

It makes you notice the kids font tooth is missing which is kinda sweet!

I don't know what it is, but even seeing them with happy faces still makes me very sad. I am a very emotional person when it comes to stuff like this and your photos bring out that emotion to me.

Just makes me want to scoop them all up and take them somewhere safe...

Very nice.

You did a great job capturing the essence of little boys. And great composition. Great job.

ich finds in s/w deutlich besser. arg, wie diese gesichter gezeichnet sind. find aber das grinsen des rechten buben echt "cool"... ;)

It's a sad sort of happy. Your photograph is, as always, amazing.

These children in the suburbs of Kabul had remembered me the people from Brazil that although all poverty that devastates them, as much social injustice, still remains a glad people, smiling toothless smiles.
As I think, the ignorant ones, be it for youth, be it for not have information, are happier. But … are they really?

Wonderful work.

Little kids playing in the park down town...
Soon they'll be all gone as the sun goes down...

Now there is next to no traffic on the river, which is largely silted up. At best one might see a sailing boat or two moored in the lower reaches amidst an assortment of rotting barges. To landward, there is nothing but grey water, mudflats and emptiness.

from which song is that?
