really interesting photo...made me thinking...
marvellous bit of photojournalism.. caught at a great moment.. expressions full displaying hapiness... but the image leaving open to reactions to the situation the subjects are placed in... superb shot.

dunno what to say, a soldier, whos payed to kill, with some kind of "new" live, his son that plays with the AK! that is somehow conflicting to me.
++ for the moment and theme
a small - for the bright background
yes, one can think about a long time. it is interesting - for us. for people living in afghanistan, it is just a normal scene. if you grow up with war and killing i mean.

conflicting, indeed.
the background is a bit problematic. that's why i didn't submit this one at first, but rather Afghanistan IV with a different perspective and crop (well not cropped really), but after all this scene seemed more complete to me.

aww...it's those two again...this makes me sad now ;_; but it's still a wonderful picture!!! very well done :)
A father's love, lovely expression on both, but the kid playing around with the gun, hm don't like that.. but it's real life, got to live with that. This is great piece of photojournalism for sure.

Congrats! :aww:
